Mr. Julian Cazañas, Jr. brings 38 years of distinguished experience in education to AcadeMir Preparatory Middle-High School. Throughout his career, he has served as a classroom teacher, mentor, instructional leader, principal, district administrator, and senior educational executive, leading schools and educational initiatives focused on academic excellence, innovation, and student achievement. His leadership has been recognized for transforming school performance, developing high-performing instructional teams, and creating learning environments where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

As Principal of AcadeMir Preparatory Middle-High School, Mr. Cazañas is committed to fostering a culture built on high expectations, strong relationships, and meaningful partnerships with families. Guided by this year’s theme, Driven to Succeed, he believes every student deserves a safe, engaging, and academically rigorous education that prepares them to thrive in college, career, and life. Mr. Cazañas is passionate about empowering students, supporting teachers, and working collaboratively with families to ensure every Tiger reaches his or her fullest potential. He is excited to continue building upon the strong foundation of AcadeMir Preparatory Middle-High School and looks forward to an outstanding school year with the entire Tiger community.

Mrs. Angela Ramirez

Mrs. Angela Ramirez joined the AcadeMir family in July 2024. She has 17 years experience as both a middle school science and elementary teacher, STREAM coordinator, learning specialist, and administrator. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Florida International University (FIU) and her dual master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership from FIU and St. Thomas University. Mrs. Ramirez holds certifications in Educational Leadership (all levels), General Science 5-9, Elementary Education, and endorsement for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Mrs. Ramirez is excited to become part of the AcadeMir family and is looking forward to building a collaborative community where students are able to acquire life-long knowledge and skills needed to become future leaders of our community.
